CES 2018 starts next week, and people of LG Display have announced that viewers will be able to get glimpse of the world's first 88 inch 8K OLED display on the show floor - which is 7680 x 4320 or 33,177,600 pixels.
Larger displays of 8K and 145 inches are going to be higher - but no one uses OLED technology, LG is breaking its own record with this display because the first OLED display was the 76.7 inches 4K LG TV Which is still Available at 19,999.99 USD for purchase at a cool price.
It is not yet known whether the price of any one of the 88-inch display 8K would be worth, but the price of the 76.7-inch display should be enough to get an idea.
As for content, there isn’t much available as of yet; while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 became the first movie to be shot with an 8K camera; an 8K version of the film is not yet available. Vimeo began supporting 8K content with HDR support in November last year, but that’s still a very limited selection.
4's display is expected to be only more affordable, and the content of 4K is being seen to some degree familiarly, the format is compelled to become main stream rather than later.8K will definitely follow it, but only hope that its rise will begin before the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, which is expected to be broadcast in the 8K.
