Once you open iMessage, you can tap on the app button and then select on the apple pay. From there you will be able to input the amount that you want to make a payment or request. Both you and the recipient have to install the beta to work for it, but otherwise, it seems to work like a charm.
I am sure that this is a consistent feature for those who completely invest in Apple's ecosystem, but it is amazing that this UI is not a bit more integrated; Right now it remains in the same area as third-party plugins and then, of course, it is totally useless if you want to send money to those people not to use iOS.
If you can not wait until the official release of iOS 11.2 - and live with potential bugs and glitch - you can sign up for Apple's public beta program here.
